Environmental Protection: Is it all good?

When one thinks of environmental, how could we possible think of negatives? Alternative fuel and energy sources, recycling, saving natural resources, helping the animals...what could possibly be wrong? What many people who stand out in the streets protesting to make a difference don't realize, is that the cost of going green is phenomenal. Alternate energy resources are expensive to both build, and switch to. Following through on recycling is also expensive, as well as building recycling plants, which is the reason many states have not made it law. Cost is truly the main issue in environmental protection. The other is the extremely fine line between what needs to be protected and what can be established on. This issue can cause properties to be held in limbo for elongated periods of time.

As anyone can guess, it isn't all bad. Who does not benefit from environmental protection? For humans, it beautifies our environment, ensures we have natural resources, and ensures we will have a place to live for a long while. For animals, it protects where they live. They have safe environments, and are protected from human attack. They are free to live the life they would without human interaction.
